What data is collected
Only what you enter in the contact form: your name, email address and message and, if you wish, your phone number, approximate dates and number of guests. The website has no user registration and does not store your message in a database: it is sent by email to the host.
To stop automated spam, an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address the form is sent from (not the IP address itself) is kept for one hour. Like any website, the server also records visits in its technical logs.
What it is used for
To reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to stay, to look after you during your stay. It is not used to send you advertising.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation) and, when your enquiry is about a booking, the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
How long it is kept
For as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and, after that, for the periods required by law. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner at any time.
Who else sees it
No one: it is not passed on to third parties. Only the technical providers that keep the website and email running process it on the owner’s behalf. [PENDIENTE: proveedor de alojamiento web y de correo]
If you write on WhatsApp or book on Booking.com, those services process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to oscar@carmelinayfrasquito.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
